Uasin Gishu gubernatorial candidate on an Independent ticket Zedekiah Bundotich better known as Buzeki has asked residents of Uasin Gishu county not to be so concerned about who will win the August election between him and incumbent Jackson Mandago.
Speaking during the ground breaking ceremony for the multi billion Industrial Park at Plateau, Uasin Gishu on Friday, Buzeki said both of them are capable of providing the needed leadership for the county.
"Both of us are children of this county and there is no need to worry so much of who will be the governor as I believe it will be a win-win situation for whoever wins," Buzeki said.
The billionaire businessman further reaffirmed his commitment to accepting the results and challenged governor Mandago to declare that he would accept the will of the people should he lose.
"I have always said that I am ready to accept defeat and support my brother Mandago if that will be the will of the people and I also expect to be supported should the people decide that its me they want," noted Buzeki.
Mandago and Buzeki are engaged in a fierce battle that has seen both camps crisscross as they seek support of over 450,000 voters in the county.
