Deputy President William Ruto has said the opposition is using corruption as a campaign strategy because they lack a goodwill agenda for the country.
Ruto on Sunday said the country can only win the war on corruption if ‘we fight corruption based on truth and facts and not political sideshows.’
Speaking at Kapyemit Primary School (Turbo constituency) during a prayer service for KCPE candidates, DP Ruto cited the Standard Guage Railway, the Digital Literacy Program, Eurobond and the free maternity program as the governments flagship programmes that the opposition targets with corruption allegations without facts.
Speaking at the same venue, Gichugu MP Njogu Barua said the "noise" about the ministry of health is a political attack aimed at tarnishing President Uhuru Kenyatta’s reputation.
