Deputy President William Ruto has appealed to communities living in Nakuru County to embrace peace ahead of general elections.
Speaking on Saturday at Mau Secondary school in Kuresoi North, the DP said a time has come for this nation to move together as one.
"We need to move together as a country and there is need for all tribes to embrace each other," said Ruto.
He also assured Kenyans that the government will ensure that the issue of land is sorted out.
"The land issue shall be sorted out and we shall ensure that all those who don't have title deeds will get them in due coarse," added Ruto.
During the function, 741 residents from Kamara Scheme received title deeds.
His sentiments were echoed by Nakuru County Deputy Governor Joseph Rutto who said Nakuru County will not tolerate hate speech mongers.
The DP was accompanied by Kiambu Governor William Kabogo, Energy Cs Charles Keter, Nakuru Deputy Governor Joseph Ruto, Nominated Senator Liza Chelulei among other leaders.
