West Pokot Senator John Lonyangapuo says that DP William Ruto insulted him.
Speaking yesterday in Kibera during a function, the Senator says that the DP openly insulted him due to his allegiance to KANU and not the Jubilee Coalition and says he is disappointed with the conduct of the DP.
He said that DP was so irrational and he has a short fuse despite his position in government.
“The DP insulted me in front of my wife and children and that is not the way to go about things for such a senior politician in the country,” he said.
The senator, however, did not state what kind of insult the DP leveled against him.
The senator further accused the DP of intimidating those against the move to join the Jubilee Party and said that such tactics will only serve to kill off the party.
“By insulting us, he has killed the spirit of the new party he is trying to sell,” he added.
The DP has been on a countrywide tour trying to sell the new Jubilee Party to Kenyans ahead of the 2017 elections.
