Deputy President William Ruto has urged Opposition coalition NASA to follow due process in their quest to oust a section of IEBC officials.
In a series of tweets published on his Twitter account on Monday, Ruto noted that NASA will not be allowed to use unconstitutional means to remove IEBC officers.
"We have no problem with demonstrations as long as it is not an avenue to subvert the constitution. It is imperative to follow due process in removing a public servant from office. Any other means is unacceptable," he said.
"Elections are not a do-or-die event. There will be life after October 26 and everyone will move on. This country is bigger than all of us. Let us join hands to build a united, prosperous nation," he added.
He further slammed NASA's 'irreducible minimums', asserting that the outfit is not ready for the polls.
"The untenable demands of our competitors are a clear indication they are not ready for a contest," he stated.
NASA leaders are seeking the removal of IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba who they claim engaged in electoral malpractices during the August polls.
