A section of Jubilee politicians from Nyamira have accused Deputy President William Ruto of allegedly colluding with Governor John Nyagarama of ODM against the party's wishes.
Last Thursday, Ruto is said to have secretly met Nyagarama at his Karen home in what Jubilee leaders are terming as 'meddling of an election petition appeal'.
In a phone interview, petitioner Walter Nyambati said the move was aimed at undermining his efforts to seek justice.
"He has never met us as Jubilee team or even ask about the petition. He has met my opponent several time and its time he stopped being obsessed with our county," Nyambati said.
Rigoma MCA Benson Sironga termed Ruto's meeting with Nyagarama as 'malicious' and threatened that the Jubilee brigade may look for options in 2022.
"It is malicious because same favour is not extended to our Jubilee side. If things go on lik this, we shall explore other options."
Nyambati filed an appeal following the High Court judgment that upheld Nyagarama's victory in February.
Apparently, Ruto has met Nyamira MPs from both political divides within this month.
