Deputy President William Ruto is now calling for the cooperation of the central and county governments in a a bid to fully realize the nation's development dream and agenda.
Speaking after he met commissioners from the Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA) at his Karen office in Nairobi Monday, the Deputy President said that the two levels of administration must also come together to chat the way forward on matters equal revenue sharing among regions.
He added that it is also only through the collaboration that the nation can fully eradicate marginalization outcries as several groups of persons lament seclusion.
He stressed that the same will enable Kenyans get value for their money while at the same time getting sufficient resources to improve their lives.
''The national and county governments must create synergy, provide practical solutions to the problem of marginalization and through equitable sharing of revenue make certain that the people get value for money and positively impact lives,'' said the DP on his official Twitter account.
This however comes at a time when a section of the counties allied to the opposition alliance National Super Alliance (NASA) are keen on derailing the government's functions as a part of the alliance's plan to frustrate the state.
The alliance is pushing for electoral talks lamenting over a tradition of poll rigging.
