Speaking on Sunday during Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto's homecoming, Moi dismissed the deputy president's claims that he and governor Ruto were leading a revolt against him in the Rift Valley.

"He (Ruto) has been accusing us of being agents of division but in the real sense, he's the one who is sowing division by unnecessarily targeting leaders from the community who speak their mind," Moi said.

The senator further dismissed calls by the DP that the Kalenjin community should remain in Jubilee, to ensure he ascends to the presidency come 2022.

"It is only by the grace of God that we will reach 2022. And before that, we should voice our needs and demand development from the government through a vote in 2017," Moi added.
