Deputy President William Ruto has brushed off 2022 politics once again.

The DP said the Jubilee government is focused on delivering in its development agenda during its last term in power and that politics would not derail the work of the Government in implementing its agenda for Kenyans.

Deputy President has continued his appeal to politicians to stop politics and join hands in nation-building during the Jubilee Party final term in office.

Speaking at the burial of Mount Kenya University Founder Simon Gicharu’s mother, Alice Wambui Gicharu in Kiambu county, Ruto advised political leaders to dedicate their energies to serving Kenyans, saying voters elected them to solve the problems facing them.

“Our focus as Jubilee is development and unity of all Kenyans. We have no time to waste in politics of who and who gets what position,” said Ruto.

He asked Jubilee leaders to work together and avoid divisive politics so as to serve Kenyans effectively.

Ruto said the development could not be achieved through mere talks but by working together focusing on ways of alleviating the living standards of the people.

“The government would use Shs 50bilion in the provision of water to Kiambu County residents in the next five years,” said Ruto.
