Ruto asked Kenyans to assess the performance record of leaders so as to make informed decisions come August elections.

The DP said the Opposition comprised of power hungry leaders who during their many years as ministers in Government did nothing for Kenyans.

He said the opposition-whose four leaders cumulatively had served in Government close to 100 years-was only concerned with sharing power and not the welfare of Kenyans.

The DP spoke in Hamisi, Serem, Aldai, Kobujoi, Kaptumo, Namgoi, Kapsabet and Mosoriot during his tour of Vihiga, Nandi and Uasin Gishu Counties during a voter registration sensitization campaign.

The Deputy President said the Opposition was creating unnecessary excuses to discredit the polls because they had sensed defeat.

The leaders who accompanied the Deputy President told Cord leader Raila Odinga and other opposition figures leaders to stop threatening Kenyans.

They said Jubilee enjoyed popular support in Kenya and that was evident when more Kenyans elected the party’s MPs to Parliament.
