Bungoma senator Moses Wetangula has yet an again taken a swipe at Deputy President William Ruto by claiming that he is a thief.

In several occasions, Ruto has been associated with a number of land grabbing cases which he has vehemently denied.

Speaking on Thursday at Kitale, Wetangula said Jubilee administration had lost moral authority by encouraging corruption and thievery.

“Jubilee is only specialized in stealing from Kenyans. They cannot develop this nation and we may end up creating unsustainable debts,” he said.

“Ruto alone is a chief thief but nothing has been done against him. I wonder why they should lecture us on good governance if they cannot tame him,” added Wetangula.

On rising debts, he accused Kenyatta’s regime of over borrowing without any significant transformation on ground in term of development.

Both NASA and Jubilee are embroiled in a stiff competition ahead of August polls and the DP has been a regular critic of the opposition team.
