Leaders from the Rift Valley region have been urged by DP William Ruto to avoid wrangles that might undermine the region's development.He asked them to see themselves as leaders with a mandate to deliver for their people and not members of political parties.''I ask the Kalenjin-speaking leaders and the nation as a whole that the years ahead of us are for service delivery for the ordinary people. It does not matter which party you were elected through or whether you are an independent candidate,'' he said.He was addressing a funeral in Belgut at Sossiot Grounds for the former area MP. The Deputy President said that the time for politics was over and every leader should focus on bringing development to their people.
