The leaders, led by Eldas MP Adan Keynan, are from Wajir County.

They discussed, among other things, the drought situation in the country, which has affected close to 3 million Kenyans.

Most of the leaders who attended the meeting come from the Degodia clan.

They are: Abbas Sheikh Mohamed (Wajir East URP), ODM nominated senator Halima Abdille, Ahmed Kolosh (Wajir West parliamentary seat aspirant), Mohamed Elmi (Tarbaj ODM), Keynan and ODM elections board member Ibrahim Rashid.

Former NSSF chairman Aden Mohamed also accompanied the politicians.

It is unclear whether the DP and the ODM leaders discussed politics during the meeting.
