At least 13 people were confirmed dead following a road accident at the Kamukuywa Bridge along Webuye-Kitale road on Monday night a 14-seater matatu rammed into the rear of a tractor transporting sugarcane.Latest reports indicate over 20 other people have perished in multiple crashes involving 15 vehicles at Sachangwan blackspot on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway on Tuesday. In his condolence message on Tuesday, Ruto expressed sorrow following the two accidents. He also wished quick recovery to those who were injured. "Saddened by the deaths at Kamukuywa and Sachangwan following tragic road accidents. Those charged with the responsibility of ensuring safety must administer the prevention of unnecessary loss of life. We grieve with the affected families and wish quick recovery to the injured," said Ruto on twitter.
