Deputy President William Ruto has mourned former nominated MP and one time Assistant Minister Mark Too who died on Saturday.
In a statement, the Deputy President described Too as a peacemaker and a down to earth personality full of humour.
“Too was a friend to peace and unity of communities. He had a wealth of knowledge and experience which he shared with leaders, business people and farmers alike,” Ruto said.
“His calm presence and down-to-earth personality meant he was able to mediate and defuse tension during crisis situations and protracted negotiations,”he added.
The Former Assistant Minister for State died at St Lukes Orthopedics and Trauma Hospital in Eldoret aged 64.
He reportedly visited the health facility on Christmas eve unconscious from food poisoning.
