Mukurwe-ini MP Kabando wa Kabando has distanced himself from a group of Central politicians blaming Deputy President William Ruto for their loss in the April Jubilee primaries.

Mr Kabando defended the DP against claims that he rigged out some MPs during the party’s nominations.

“I saw an article in the press during the weekend quoting me as saying things I never uttered. What I said was that Ruto is an asset to Jubilee,” he said.

Mr Kabando asked independent candidates to sell their agenda to voters instead of looking for people to blame.

Some Central political heavy weights who lost in the exercise included Kiambu Governor William Kabogo who blamed the DP over his predicament.
