Deputy President William Ruto made a return to Western Kenya on Monday where he urged locals to vote in Jubilee based on its development record.
His trip comes barely a fortnight after the opposition team held a series of rallies in the region that saw thousands of locals embrace ODM leader Raila Odinga.
And on Monday, Ruto said Odinga had no realistic chances of succeeding President Uhuru Kenyatta due to development record of Jubilee administration.
“There is no way Raila can beat Jubilee which has initiated many development projects in just four years time. Maybe in his dreams,” said Ruto.
He added: “No one votes with an intention of losing but to win. This is why you have to vote Jubilee because we are destined to win.
He was accompanied by Water Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamwalwa, Bungoma governor Ken Lusaka and Sirisia MP John Walukhe.
Jubilee administration is trying to unlock the region which had its influential leaders Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi back NASA collation.
