Lugari MP Ayub Savula has accused Deputy President William Ruto, of 'playing tricks' to him.He said he was Ruto's close friend, but things turned 'black', when he declined to join president Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee Party, which Ruto is the deputy. This, he said made the Jubilee government to sideline Lugari in terms of development projects, even after Ruto had assured him that the sub-county would greatly benefit from Jubilee projects.''I was Ruto's friend. We even used to have dinner together at his Sugoi home in Turbo. But he lied to me, when he assured me that roads will be tarmacked in this area. Jubilee has done nothing for us in Lugari. Why should we believe in them?'' said the Nasa-allied lawmaker.Speaking when he launched his re-election bid in Manyonyi, Friday, he disclosed Ruto's rural home area had tarmacked roads, yet he sidelined Lugari, despite being so close to Turbo.
