Deputy President William Ruto has said that he will donate sh 50 million in upgrading of the Etago Health Center in South Mugirango constituency, Kisii County.
This has been said by Kisii Governor James Ongwae and his Deputy Joash Maangi who met the DP at his Karen home in Nairobi on Tuesday.
"We met with the DP and discussed on matter development in Kisii County and how best we can align our priorities to go hand in hand with President Uhuru Kenyatta's four agenda plan," he said.
Mr Maangi said that the Deputy President also promised to back the KICOSCA games which will be held in August in the county.
On his part, Mr Maangi said Kisii County government is committed to ensure that the electorate gets a proper service delivery to boost lives of people in villages.
He assured that the county government will utilize funds sent from the national government to initiate and launch various projects in the county.
"No public money will get lost as we are seeing in other sectors. The little the national government will send to Kisii County shall be used on projects which are beneficial to common residents," he said.
