Deputy President William Ruto has drummed up support for the reelection of the Jubilee administration, urging Kenyans to support President Uhuru Kenyatta's bid.

Speaking in Bungoma earlier in the week, DP Ruto accused Opposition coalition NASA of dividing Kenyans along tribal lines and zoning regions.

“They were here with a lot of empty rhetoric but failed to spell out what they have done for you. Unlike our opponents, Jubilee government has a clear development agenda for this region,” he said.

He further noted that the Jubilee administration was keen to work with Western Kenya residents, dismissing claims that the region was an Opposition stronghold.

“We are ready to work with Western so that we can move this country forward. Gone is the era of zoning regions. Who said western is an opposition zone?” he posed.

Jubilee has been attempting to make inroads into Western Kenya.
