Deputy President William Ruto risks losing relevance should he continue with antics of attacking political enemies, warns political scientist Nyachio Bogonko.
The D have been involved in political duels with a number of politicians among them Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and his Bomet counterpart Isaac Ruto.
In an exclusive interview with the reporter on Tuesday, Bogonko said the DP should minimize his political fireworks on his juniors in case he wants to save his political career.
“I have said time and again that the DP is a political schemer but sometimes he loses meaning. He should not waste is time attacking political juniors,” he said.
“He risks losing relevance should he continue engaging people who are below him in the pecking order. Again, he may end up creating more enemies and subsequently sabotage his 2022 presidential ambitions,” he added.
