Deputy President William Ruto prayed his last political prayer concerning today’s elections. In a twitter post, the DP begged the living God to prevent any rigging plot in the ongoing election. He also asked God to guard Kenyans against confusion and lies peddled by politicians.
"God in heaven, silence every rumour and lie, frustrate any scheme to rig or steal...destroy any plan for chaos, confusion or violence. Amen," read the post as quoted by the Star.
Meanwhile, the two Jubilee patrons are battling NASA chiefs Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka. Both factions have asked their supporters to vote and vacate polling stations. This came as a surprise after NASA had maintained that they will adopt a polling station.
However, they changed their stand and instructed their followers to leave the stations after voting. This has been adhered to across the country as voters queue for hours to cast their votes.
The numbers being witnessed in many polling stations are encouraging. The publicized voting in masses might be witnessed in this election.
