Deputy President William Ruto has commended elected leaders in Uasin Gishu county and the entire North Rift for working together.
Ruto said the unity will help drive the Jubilee development agenda in the region."I want to congratulate Jubilee politicians from Uasin Gishu my home country and Rift valley at large for working in unity to ensure that electorates get services they were promised during the electioneering period. For a country to move forward we need concerted efforts and not politicking,” said the deputy president during a church service at the Africa Inland Church (AIC) Missionary College in Eldoret town, Sunday."Working together in unity will help in driving the development agenda and transformation of the country that is the primary agenda to all of us," he added.The DP further challenged all politicians to work together with the aim of improving and transforming the country."I call upon all politicians regardless their political or tribal affiliations to work together for the country to move forward. Politics is now over and the chance we have is to serve the electorates through development," be noted.
