Deputy President William Ruto has launched a scathing attack on Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula and Bomet Governor Isaac Rutoo for defending their seats during the forthcoming general elections.

The Deputy President, who spoke at Cheptais Market in Mt Elgon, Mayuba Stadium in Sirisia and Muliro Gardens in Webuye during a tour of Bungoma, said it is interesting to note that leaders of the National Super Alliance  (NASA) want Kenyans to believe in them when they do not have trust in themselves.

The legislator said that the move of the two leaders to seek re-election is good enough to show that they have sensed defeat.

“If they can’t trust each other with the seats they plan to hold, to an extent of contesting for lower seats, how can they lead the country?” he posed, as quoted by Nation.

The DP also asked the residents of this part of the nation not to support the opposition, arguing that the leaders have nothing to offer them if elected into power after the next general polls.

“Don’t gamble with your vote, entrust it with the Jubilee leaders and not the opposition, they can’t help you at all, they are perennial losers,” Mr Ruto added.
