For the second time in as many weeks, Deputy President William Ruto has skipped a State House function.
On Friday, Ruto was conspicuously absent as uhuru named more numbers to his cabinet with more veteran Cabinet Secretaries being retained.
While naming the first batch of cabinet, Ruto missed out from state house with sources intimating that he was unhappy, a claim he later on dismissed.
"Let us allow the president to give his team without pressure. We shall work with any team he shall give us," he said.
He added: "Those politicising every issue should stop. We are working closely without any friction."
A local newspaper claimed that Ruto had opposed the initial list and the latest twist of events even raises eye brows.
Those who survived in the second batch include Raschelle Omamo (Defense), Amina Mohammed (Education), Aden Mohammed (industrialization), Eugene Wamalwa (Devolution) and Cicily Kariuki (health)
