Deputy President William Ruto is set to attend the 5th Replenishment Summit in Montreal, Canada to source funds that will facilitate the fight against AIDS, Malaria, and tuberculosis.
The DP will lead Kenyan delegation to Montreal with Cabinet Secretary for Health Cleopa Mailu among them, to attend the forum that will be hosted by Canadian Prime Minster Justin Trudeau on September 16 and 17.
Kenya is anticipated to present its results for the treatment of the three diseases.

About 60 people die of TB every day and malaria kill about 4, 000 people annually, mostly expectant mothers and children under the age of five.
Other issues to be discussed during the forum include gender inequality, discrimination, violence, stigma, and poverty.
