Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula has launched a scathing attack on Deputy President William Ruto, warning him against telling Kenyans lies.
Wetangula, also Bungoma Senator, said that Ruto has been moving from one part of the nation telling Kenyans lies as Jubilee seeks to retain power in August, which he said opposition leaders will not take lying low.
The lawmaker, who spoke at Kanduyi in Bungoma County, said that leaders of the National Super Alliance (NASA) will reveal the truth.
He also said that Ruto has no authority to speak about leaders aligned to NASA when he has questionable past.
"Let him stop telling lies about us because we are going to tell Kenyans lots of truth about them," he said, as quoted by Star.
He also said that Ruto addresses issues of national interest like someone who have never been in the classroom.
"I wonder what he was doing in class...was he just planning when his grabbing spree would start?" he posed.
Ruto has been criticizing leaders of the opposition for their stand over different issues. The Deputy President found himself in hot soup when he claimed that Wiper Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka and Cord leader Raila Amolo Odinga were using their post for selfish gains following the nominations of leaders to join East Africa Assembly (EALA).
Led by Ford Kenya leader Wetangula leaders of the opposition told off Ruto over the appointments.
