Bomet governor Issac Ruto has warned Deputy President William Ruto against insulting other leaders from Rift Valley.
Ruto said that it was wrong for the DP to insult him and Baringo Senator Gideon Moi whenever he holds political rallies in the region.
"It is sad that he abuses me whenever he visits Bomet. He also does the same to Baringo senator Gideon Moi and other leaders who do not agree with him on issues," he said.
Speaking during an interview on KASS FM on Wednesday morning, the CCM party leader called on Ruto to view politics as a competition.
"They seem not to understand the difference between devolution and Isaac Rutto. This is not a URP or Jubilee affair,” he added.
