Presidential candidate Joseph Nyaga has attacked Deputy President William Ruto saying the DP is 'corrupt and untrustworthy'.
Speaking during a campaign rally in Kirinyaga County, Nyaga said Ruto is the main reason Kenyans are determined to vote out Jubilee adminisration in the forthcoming August polls.
"Ruto is the problem in Uhuru’s government. He enriches himself at any chance and cannot be trusted with the presidency," said Nyaga while addressing Kagio residents.
Nyaga and Ruto were part of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) 'pentagon' that also brought together Opposition leader Raila Odinga, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Tourism CS Najib Balala during the disputed 2007 elections.
Nyaga hit out at Jubilee for not fulfilling the promises it made to Kenyans in the run-up to March 4, 2013 general elections.
He urged Kenyans to support him promising to improve their livelihoods by steering economic development in the country.
“Jubilee Party has not delivered in the four years it has been in power. I will emulate former President Mwai Kibaki who brought development to this country,” the hopeful stated.
The politician was accompanied by his running mate from Moses Morango, a resident of Bungoma County.
Marago criticised NASA for seeking the cancellation of the ballot paper printing tender awarded to Dubai-based firm Al Ghurair Printing & Publishing Ltd.
He said the Opposition's intention was to ensure August poll is postponed, since "they are not ready for elections".
