Outspoken Emurua Dikir MP Johanna Ng’eno insists that Deputy President William Ruto will only see presidency on ‘TVs and mirror’ given his arrogance.
Ruto, who is facing internal rebellion in his Rift Valley backyard, has never hidden his 2022 presidential ambitions.
And in yet another scathing attack on DP’s leadership, Ng’eno warned that South Rift will rebel President Uhuru Kenyatta if he fails to tame his deputy.
“I want to remind him that he will only see presidency on mirrors and TVs just like his predecessors Musalia Mudavadi and Kalonzo Musyoka,” Ng’eno said in reference to inability of the two to clinch the top seat.
He added: “His poor attitude will dearly cost Uhuru Kenyatta’s reelection bid. I am giving Gideon Moi a one week ultimatum to talk to the president before we decide the way forward.”
Although he was elected on KNC, Ng’eno who has a soft spot on the opposition team is closely working with independence party KANU.
Along with Isaac Rutto of CCM, Gideon Moi and Nick Salat, they have been leading an onslaught against the DP.
