Deputy President William Ruto has come out to advice the opposition National Super Alliance ahead of the August polls preparations.
The DP was speaking on Saturday in Kiambu during a campaign tour by President Uhuru Kenyatta after the opposition claimed that IEBC was not ready to conduct the next polls.
And Ruto has advised the NASA to focus on chosing a presidential flagbearer instead of questioning IEBC’s preparedness for the polls.
He said the ruling coalition already has President Kenyatta as its flag bearer, has prepared manifesto and a development record which Kenyans can attest to.
His sentiments were echoed by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“People should streamline their parties in readiness for the August elections and stop interfering with IEBC who are working to ensure free, fair and credible elections,” President Kenyatta said.
The opposition is still working on plan to pick its presidential flagbearer.
