Speaking during a fundraiser at Kaptinga Primary School in Uasin Gishu county on Sunday, the lawmaker accused the former Prime minister of using the same to weaken the party, in preparation for his presidential candidature in the approaching 2022 general election.

He termed Odinga as a hindrance to Jubilee's progress, adding that he is keen on incapacitating Deputy President William Ruto’s presidential bid in favor of his own.

He, however, urged him to go ahead and vie and lose to Ruto, as a confirmation that Kenyans do not have faith in his leadership credentials.

‘’We are aware that he is preparing for another shot at the presidency in 2022. He should go ahead so that we can give him another defeat that will send him home for good,’’ said Sudi.

His remarks were echoed by Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen who accused Odinga of having a hidden agenda during his truce with the President on March 9.

According to Murkomen, the Orange party leader is now keenly but in futility working on destroying the party from within.

‘’We welcomed him onto our side but he is now working against us. It seems he had a planned out strategy before the handshake and is now trying to implement it,’’ said Murkomen.
