Politician Patrick Osero now wants the government to disband NTSA following series of accidents in the country for a month now.
On Sunday morning, over 30 people perished at Salgaa notorious hot spot along the Nakuru Eldoret Highway.
And Osero, a perennial Borabu parliamentary aspirant and a close ally of DP Ruto, insists that NTSA should be disbanded as the first step towards curbing road carnage.
"The only immediate solution is to have NTSA disbanded for mass failure in monitoring our roads," he wrote on Borabu Watchtowers.
He further said: "They only target to defraud unsuspecting motorists at the expense of lives. This should be punished urgently."
For close to a month, over 100 people have perished from accident related incidents even prompting President Uhuru Kenyatta to fire warning to motorists and police officers.
Early this month, at least 14 people from the same family died in Bungoma in an incident that left the nation in a deep shock.
