Deputy President William Samoei Ruto has once again come out to offer a word of spiritual inspiration to us. This was after he attended a church service at the Africa Inland Church (AIC) Missionary College, Ainabkoi, Uasin Gishu County.
Through his twitter handle on Sunday 4th March 2018, the Deputy President wrote, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. So, therefore, commit to the Lord whatever you do and He will establish your plans."
The Deputy President is no doubt a man who is keen on religious matters. His dedication to spiritual matters saw President Uhuru Kenyatta refer to him as Pastor William Ruto during their swearing-in ceremony at Safaricom Stadium, Kasarani on Tuesday 28th November 2017.
On Thursday 1st March 2018, the Dp hosted a group of religious leaders at his Karen office after which he generously shared numerous photos of them together and on his twitter he posted, "With religious leaders at the Karen office, Nairobi."
Such inspiration is what we exactly need as a country as we undergo healing from the numerous encounters we had during the long and tiresome electioneering period. Political leaders should, therefore, bury their differences, embrace one another as Kenyans and work together for the greater good of our country Kenya.
