The deputy president William Ruto wants to focus on the politics of empowering ordinary citizens before the next presidential elections in 2022.

Speaking during a Sunday service at PCEA church Tabuga in Nakuru County, the deputy head of state said that the government is only after the politics of improving the lives of Kenyans and empowering them to realize their potential.

He also added that the time for politics is over and those politicians who are thinking of power sharing should give the government a break urging them that it is high time to stop politics.

“We cannot forever be talking about the politics of power sharing, we must begin the narrative of the politics of empowerment. Empowering ordinary citizens to realize their potential. That is the direction we want to go,” said William Ruto adding that: “And so those who want to take us back to politics please they should give us a break. Kenya wants to talk about the empowerment of the citizen of our country.”

The deputy president is pushing so had to have the best score at the end of president Uhuru Kenyatta’s term by fulfilling the Jubilee agenda. 

This will be of great benefit to realize his presidential ambitions.
