A picture of the deputy president William Ruto running after a chicken has elicited a lot of reactions on social media.
The DP was in Uasin Gishu County Kamagut for a chicken auction where from the picture, he seemed to be going after a chicken that was getting loose.

Once a hustler will always remain a hustler. God was so good to DP William Ruto that he gave him a fast thinking brain. I am glad people of UG are making good use of it.”
Robinson M Wangari - "This man is a man of the people. You are doing a good job Uncle Willy. Keep inspiring many and may God add favour before him and all men.”
Larry Kip - "I can’t imagine the DP Ruto running after that Chicken. That shows how humble to earth the man is. Always sticking with the normal Mwananchi.”
Jane Jane - "I truly love Ruto because he can identify with a person down there. If he can run after a chicken and he is the Deputy President then leaves a lot to be desired.”

However, some of the social media users blasted DP Ruto's security for not helping the second in comand.
“Where is the security team? They should be the one catching the chicken for the Deputy President and not the DP chasing after them,” said Chemase timo.
“The police standing there should be sacked for allowing the President run after chicken. They should understand he is the Deputy President,” added Tomno Ngeno.
