Deputy President William Ruto's supporters have embraced a term used by President Uhuru Kenyatta to describe his deputy's political movements.
While addressing Nairobians in Eastlands, Uhuru said that they will be meeting Ruto in their areas and can air their grievances.
"Huyu kijana Ruto unajua atakuwa akitangatanga kwenye hizi machochoro, kwa hivyo mkiona mambo inaenda konakona mmwambie ili tuwafanyie kazi," Uhuru said.
The remarks were taken by a section of the political divide and construed as demeaning and derogatory to Ruto.
However, just hours after the incident, DP's supporters have turned the remark into a rallying call; tanga tanga movement!
One supporter has already branded his Nairobi matatu into tanga tanga movement.
