Deputy President William Ruto has written an inspiring letter to all Kenyans assuring them of the Jubilee’s government devotion in making sure all the promises they made to their people are fulfilled.

In his letter, he talked about the Big Four agenda. He said, “We stand by our commitment unequivocally. We also stand by another value we believe in and have championed from day one – and which I want to emphasize again now, in the shadow of our recently unveiled agenda: The shared responsibility we all have for the future of Kenya.”

Here are five things he assured Kenyans of in his letter:

Rural electrificationJust like the government promised, they will make sure they deliver rural electrification. DP Ruto who assured Kenyans that just like they fulfilled their promise on the SGR, free maternity and in education reforms, rural electrification was the next thing to come.

TourismHe said, “So, we ‘Buy Kenya’ to build Kenya. We ‘Tembea Kenya’ when tourism earnings are down and remind the world of our self-reliance.” He urged Kenyans not to wait for foreigners to come and develop their tourism sector but should take part in it too.

OpportunitiesIn his letter, DP Ruto assured Kenyans that the government is committed to creating many jobs for all its people. The jobs will helpful for the advancement of all individuals.

SkillsThere are many programs aimed at improving the skills of all Kenyans. Therefore, he argued all Kenyans to take part in such programs such as the G-United National Volunteer Programme. Skills such as communication, personal organization and management skills will be improved through these programs.

GenerosityThe G-United National Volunteer Programme is only open to youths. This will help them express their kind of service and spirit for the country’s needs. He further emphasized that although the program is open only to youths, the way of life and the attitude of generosity is for all people.
