The Director of Public Prosecution Noordin Haji has ordered for the arrest of two star rugby players over claims they interchangeably raped singer Wendy Kemunto.
Kemunto recently claimed that she was raped by the two players, Frank Wanyama and Alex Olaba, and now has a child as a result of the incident she says was not consensual.
She made the matter public on March 30, after her attempts to reach out to the two were met with threats.
The two players acknowledge they had sex wit Kemunto but insist the act was consensual. The incident happened after a night out on February 10, 2018, when Kemunto was celebrating her birthday.
In a long Instagram post, Kemunto claims Wanyama after an entertainment session dragged her into his house where he and his colleague Olaba raped her repeatedly.
She says she tried reaching out to Wanyama over the incident but the player told her to get a lawyer just in case she decides to go public. Wanyama is also reported to have ordered her to pull down the Instagram post.
Kemunto is an upcoming musician.
