Mombasa County deputy governor Dr William Kingi received a delegation from the county department of Health led by CeC, Binti and the Chief Officer Dr Shikely.
The delegation presented to him with a Human Resources for Health (HRH) information dashboard for Mombasa County.
"With support from USAID's HRH Kenya project the department has successfully developed a health workforce management system (iHRIS) where all the information on our health workers can be accessed just by a click of the mouse," he said on Thursday.
The information management system will ease access to information on distribution of health workers across the county and enable citizens to easily locate health care services.
"This system shall also make it easy for the stakeholders in the sector to evaluate and monitor the performance of our health workers," said Kingi.
