The Machakos county Women representative Dr Susan Musyoka has been voted the best-performing women representative in Kenya according to a new survey by Infotrac.
In the survey conducted between May and September 2016, Dr Musyoka was ranked with the highest approval rating from her constituents closely followed by her Mombasa correspondent Mishi Mboko while Nairobi's Rachel Shebesh completed the third best Women representatives.
In the research that saw at least 100,000 Kenyans being interviewed with not less than 500 from each ward, the Kitui county Women representative Nyiva Mwendwa was rated the worst performing.
Nyiva is allegedly accused by Kitui residents of never having participated in any activity at the county level that could be termed as development.
Following her recent projects that included helping the girl child by issuing of sanitary pads to all girls' schools in the county and boosting women groups in the county by initiating table banking, Dr Musyoka perhaps merited the honor.
