England were rampant and ended up scoring a goal in the eleventh minute thanks to a strike by marquee player Harry Kane.

In the thirty-third minute, England were punished with a penalty after a Tunisian player, Fakhreddine Ben Youssef was fouled in their box by Kyle Walker.

The penalty was well-taken by Ferjani Sassi, giving Africa its first goal in this global tournament and giving Tunisia a lifeline.

That goal put the two countries back on level terms.

It appears that that was all the North African team needed to regain their confidence.

The parity would have been maintained had Tunisia been keener and not have given England an easy corner at stoppage time, a corner that England capitalised on, re-establishing their lead.

The match ended at 2-1.
