There was drama at Punda Milia area when a husband and his wife engaged in a fight Wednesday evening as their children cheared.
The husband Alfred Angwenyi and his wife Anne Angwenyi were all drunk at around 5pm when they engaged in a fight as their seven children who were divided into two groups lauded them on.
According to the neighbor Johnson Chemutai the couple usually goes to drink together but they have never fought nor quarreled in public
"We have been neighbours for over three years and I have never seen the two fighting nor abusing each other. I was surprised to see them fighting and more so in public as their children cheered," said Chemutai.
Alice Moraa, a relative of the two said they arrived home at around 4pm totally drunk and after few minutes there was commotion.
"They came home drunk and after few minutes later they started abusing each other before engaging in a fight in front of their children," said Moraa.
Area Assistant Chief Allan Owino said the two couple will be arrested and prosecuted for being drunk and disorderly.
