There was drama in Mwatate on Saturday after a woman uncontrollably screamed after learning her name was not in the list of women selected to visit State House Nairobi on invitation by First Lady Margaret Kenyatta.

The woman, only identified as Shakila from Mwatate is said to have her left home confident she would board the SGR passenger train to Nairobi to visit the house on the hill for the first time.She is said to be a Jubilee Party diehard and supports President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election.On the eve of the trip to Nairobi on Friday, Shakila is claimed to have returned home happy after attending a meeting hosted for women from Coast region who had been selected for the Nairobi visit.But on departure day on Saturday, Jubilee coordinators from Coast are said to have informed her that she was not a beneficiary of the trip.Shakila is claimed to have been hit by the unpleasant news.She wailed on top of her voice denouncing the trip’s coordinators who she accused of deliberately deleting her name in the list of travelers.In a sound bite received by this writer, Shakila is heard screaming on top of her voice saying the trip’s organizers picked Christians to travel to Nairobi yet the journey was exclusively for women Muslims.Ms Kenyatta hosted 3,500 Muslim women selected from all the 47 counties for Iftar at State House Nairobi on Saturday.Shakila is also heard in the audio denouncing Jubilee swearing to campaign for opposition leader Raila Odinga.The State House visitors were hosted to a sumptuous dinner.Among Jubilee Coast leaders who accompanied the women was Mombasa gubernatorial candidate Suleiman Shahbal.
