A rare scene was witnessed on Saturday at Webuye County hospital after a self-proclaimed prophet in company of his followers stormed the hospital to 'resurrect' the dead.
Temple of God's church prophet Daniel Wechuli accompanied by five of his followers arrived at the hospital's morgue claiming to have been sent by the Holy Spirit to 'wake' those who had died.
"We are divine people who are anointed by the Holy Spirit to move to hospitals preaching and healing the sick without asking for any penny," Wechuli was quoted by a local daily.
Wechuli told the media that they had moved to different hospitals in the region to preach and heal the sick.
"We have been moving to various hospitals praying for the sick and most of them have been healed by faith," Wechuli affirmed.
