According to Baraka news, the Likoni CDF committee and village elders exchanged words in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Albert Kimathi and his team.

The meeting had been convened to discuss security matters arising in the area and to also bring the deputy commissioner face to face with members of his security team.

The Likoni Social Hall meeting however took the ugly twist when the CDF Secretary Pastor Timothy requested for more time to explain some issues on Likoni CDF, something that prompted an angry elder shouted him down.

"This meeting is not about CDF bursaries. It is a security meeting and we don't see where CDF issues are coming from. If you want to discuss CDF, plan your meeting to explain your issues there because there is no need hijacking another meeting with a different agenda," said a village elder.

When Mr Kimathi intervened, the meeting came to an abrupt end.
