Daraja Mbili residents in the outskirts of Kisii town, were today morning left in awe after a man beat his wife in public accusing her unfaithfulness.
The man David Morara, caught his wife speaking to another man. Without any haste, he started quizzing her of the whereabouts of the man she was speaking to. The man sensing the danger that was looming vanished into thin air for his safety.
A heated disagreement ensued between Morara and his wife only identified as Emily. He was heard hurling insults of cheating.
"I can't stand this adultery." he was heard saying.
Unable to contain his anger, he descended on his wife with kicks and blows before passers-by and neighbours restrained him.
His wife, however, denied claims that she has been unfaithful to her husband. She further accused her husband of being insecure.
"My husband is so insecure and he cannot stand to see me speak to any man," she said.
According to a neighbour who witnessed the incident, Sabina Nyaboke, the man has always confronted his wife whenever he spots her with another man.
