It is alleged that the man who is a soldier decided to pay an impromptu visit back home after he had heard of allegations that his wife cheating on him.

He left on Saturday and was expected to return in two weeks time, says a source who was the ‘husbands’ spy but opted to remain anonymous.

“I have always seen this man come to the ladies house. He first told me he was his cousin whom they ran a business together in town and I didn’t pay much attention until recently I grew suspicious since the man never comes when the husband is there,” said the 'Spy.'

“The husband being a close friend of mine, I told him of the ‘visits’," he adds.

The husband is stationed at Wajir, returned home after being informed of his wife's unfaithfulness, on arrival he called upon his wife to open the door. She declined, forcing him to force his way in.

The scenario attracted a large crowd at the plot as the soldier locked the room from inside and after a short time lthe residents heard screams from within the house forcing them to intervene.

“We would hear the soldier shout, ‘Leo nitakumaliza, leo utaniona’. The landlord, watchman and some tenants of the plot forced their way in and saved the man who was being strangled,” says Peter Muga a neighbour.

The man was pants down as the lady was covered in a 'leso' and bleeding on the face while the 'Mpango wa Kando' guy had swellings on his face.

The locals were also furious demanding the ‘cheat’ deserved every blow that came his way since he was drinking water from a well he didn't dig.

The landlord, however, was able to sneak the man into his car before driving off.

“This is very embarrassing. How would someone bring 'Mpango wa Kando' on your own bed? He is lucky enough we never laid our hands on him," said Steve Onkwani a resident.
