There was drama in Kisumu town on Tuesday morning after a man was arrested fast alseep in his car with a pistol on his side.
The drama began when the drunk man parked his car wrongly on the road and fell alseep in the company of two ladies.
A parking attendant who noticed the wrongly parked vehicle went to alert the owner and on looking closely noted a pistol placed between the drivers and the passenger’s seat
The parking attendant with the help of the locals contacted Kisumu Central police officers who arrived and secured the scene as the locals watched the drama unfold.
Curious onlookers gathered around the scene and watched as police surrounded the vehicle and got hold of the occupants and the pistol.
After securing the pistol and the vehicle owners, the police left without addressing the press or the residents who had gathered around the area.
Reports indicate that the occupants were taken to Kisumu Central Police Station where it was established that the man was a licensed gun holder.
