A man in Metembe, Kenyenya, Kisii County was recently clobbered by his wife after he questioned her over infidelity claims.
The man suffered a broken leg after he was hit by a stool during the scuffle with his wife.
The lady is said to have been staying out late, at times coming home past midnight to the shock of the husband and the family.
On this fateful day, the lady came home with unidentified people, who together beat up the man and leaving him with the injuries.
The man is said to have been drunk, and was not able to fully defend himself from the ordeal and could not identify those clobbering him.
Family and neighbours were shocked the following morning to find him with a broken leg, with the woman taking responsibility for her actions.
She however apologized and said she did not intend to cause any physical injury, adding that it was a normal scuffle that escalated without any bad intentions.
The family, however, could hear none of that and forced the woman to leave their home.
They finally agreed to sit down with elders from the woman’s side and discuss the matter, with the lady lucky to have been forgiven.
